Sugar Creek Bible Camp

Mission Statement

"To serve as a vehicle for the Spirit of God who encourages people through the scriptures, the sacred surroundings, and the witness of all who share in this Christian camping ministry."

Sugar Creek Bible Camp is a nonprofit corporation owned and operated by 113 ELCA Lutheran Congregations primarily in southwest Wisconsin. It serves children, young adults, families and senior citizens. Sugar Creek is first and foremost a "ministry" working in relationship with service to others in churches, communities, and at camp. Sugar Creek is a place, and an experience, that flows out of congregations and individuals who care and give of themselves and their gifts. We are excited as we look ahead at our expanded program possibilities with families, adults, senior citizens and singles. We look forward to offering Sugar Creek as a Center for ministries for resourcing, leadership training and renewal to our churches.

We hope Sugar Creek will continue to identify your needs and seek to serve the people of our area, never to be satisfied with how things are, but looking ahead to what they could be.

We have volunteers here almost every Wednesday. You can
come and joinup with them! If you can't come on Wednesday,
then pick a day and give us a call.

But What Can I do?

Everyone of us has talents and the camp can use them all!
