Spend two nights with nine other campers and your counselor in a cabin. During the day you and your counselor will have Bible study, go swimming, make a crafts and go on a pony ride. You'll close your evening with a campfire. Please note pick up and drop off times: Group one will arrive Sunday afternoon and departs at 6:00pm Tuesday. Group two arrives Wednesday and departs on Friday afternoon. See the 2012 summer schedule for weeks offered. |

Come for a week packed with fun. You'll stay in a cabin with your counselor and fellow campers. |
In this program you stay in platform tents that have beds in them. You'll cook some of your meals over a fire with your village - everything tastes better over the fire! |

Spend the week living in a wagon with 6 friends and your counselor. In the wagon village you get to cook your meals together as a cabin group. Yum, Yum! You'll be surprised at what you can cook over a fire. This is also the first year that you get two full hour-long trail rides on the horses! |
This week you'll be moving into an Old West Frontier Town. Some of your meals will be cooked over wood cook stoves and enjoyed in your very own mess hall! Of course you'll still participate in all the usual camp activities. On Wednesday night you'll have a special overnight camp-out with the horses. You won't want to miss out on this exciting week! |
Your special thing for the week will be spending two nights out of camp along the Mississippi backwaters. You'll canoe and cook your meals on the open fire. You're last day there you'll canoe downstream to be picked up and brought back to camp. |
Want to spend more time with the horses? You will work with the horses daily: go on extra rides, learn how to care for horses, and even help the wranglers with tack and saddles. 3 SESSIONS! See schedule for dates. |
Your pastor will pick the week your church is to come.
You'll do all the regular camp things and have some time to spend meeting with
your pastor. |
This is an out of camp program where you will spend two days biking the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail and two day canoeing down the Kickapoo River. Along the way you'll play games, do Bible study and have lots of fun! You are welcome to bring your own bike or a bike will be supplied for you. You must bring your own bike helmet. |
Camping along the Mississippi and canoeing in our 26-foot Voyageur canoes will be the highlights of this program. A great chance for fun, fellowship and spiritual growth. Come with a group of friends, or bring your whole youth group! We can fit 10 people in these beautiful canoes! |
You won't want to miss out on this popular senior high program. You'll spend Monday to Thursday in a house boat with 9 other campers and two staff cruising the Mississippi. Campfire on the sandbars, Bible study and worships on the beaches, will all be a part of the fun. Sunday and Thursday nights are spent at Sugar Creek. |

There is something in the mystique of going up North to get away. On our sojourn to beautiful Gull Lake, we will go deeper, putting a special emphasis on prayer and spiritual reflection. On the way, we will spend time fishing, canoeing, relaxing around the campfire, learning outdoor skills, and building friendships in the great outdoors. |
Get your boots on for a hands on experience working with the horses. You'll work with the camp wranglers cleaning out the barn, caring for and saddling the horses, and getting rides going. Maximum of four "JW's" per session. |

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be on staff at Sugar Creek? Are you interested in being a leader in your home congregation? In this two-week program, you will experience group building and adventure activities, hone your leadership skills, and learn about what it takes to be a camp staff person. Get a taste of all the Sugar Creek programs, and help our staff lead your favorite activities like Bible study, horse rides, pool parties, and campfires. An additional third week is available through an application process, which will be completed during the two-week program. For those who are accepted to stay the third week, they will get to shadow a counselor in a cabin group. There is no additional charge for the extra week. (Go home each Friday and return on Sunday.) |
