You could think of this retreat as a weekend-long book club. We’ll spend time delving into Robin Wall Kimmerer’s acclaimed book, Braiding Sweetgrass. As we do so, we’ll explore and reflect on parallels found in Christianity which also call us to practice care for Creation. We’ll seek and marvel in the depth and beauty of stories that, in the words of Kimmerer, “allow us to imagine a different relationship, in which people and land are good medicine for each other.”
